Multi-Static Radar Data Fusion

Welcome to our Multi-Static Radar Data Fusion Project, a cutting-edge initiative designed to enhance the detection capabilities of radar systems. Multi-static radars, consisting of multiple receiver and transmitter sites, are particularly effective at detecting targets with low radar cross-section (RCS), such as UAVs. This is achieved by receiving radar signals reflected from different angles, improving detection accuracy and reliability.

Key Features

Multi-Static Radar System

Our system comprises multiple receiver and transmitter radar sites. This configuration allows for the reception of radar signals from various angles, significantly enhancing the detection of low RCS targets. Moreover, the passive nature of the receiver nodes ensures they remain undetectable, adding an extra layer of stealth and security.

Data Fusion

In this project, we fuse plots (detections) from different receiver nodes based on sophisticated measurement models. By incorporating Angle-of-Arrival (AoA), Time-of-Arrival (ToA), Time-Difference-of-Arrival (TDoA), and Doppler measurements, we enhance the accuracy and reliability of target detection.

Tracking Filters

Our system implements various tracking filters to improve the precision and reliability of the detected targets. These filters process the fused data to track the movement and behavior of targets over time, providing comprehensive situational awareness.
